91% of Marquette community now vaccinated; regular testing required for those who are not

September 9, 2021

As of Sept. 7, 91% of the Marquette community (faculty, staff and students enrolled for the fall 2021 semester) have uploaded proof of vaccination and are fully vaccinated. Employee and student vaccination rates can be found on Marquette’s public COVID-19 dashboard, which is updated every Thursday afternoon.

If you still need to upload your proof of vaccination, you should do so at mymedicalclinic.mu.edu — it only takes a minute or two. Once you’ve logged into the Medical Clinic portal, you will need to enter your vaccine dates under the “Immunizations” tab and upload a copy of your vaccine card or other proof of vaccination under the “Upload” tab.

If you don’t have access to your vaccination card and were vaccinated in Wisconsin, you can access the Wisconsin Vaccine Database to search and show proof of vaccination status. Search here online.

Students who received an exemption from the student vaccine requirement and faculty and staff who chose not to voluntarily upload proof of vaccination will be required to:

  • Participate in mandatory COVID-19 testing every other week
  • Complete the daily COVID Cheq screening process
  • Quarantine for 14 days if they come into close contact with someone infected with COVID-19
  • Follow all other university-wide protocols related to COVID-19 mitigation

Visit the COVID-19 website FAQs for answers to questions or to submit a question.
