The Diederich College of Communication is thrilled to congratulate the entire team at Marquette Wire for winning two national awards in the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence competition.
The awards are for:
- Breaking News Reporting: “Democracy in darkness” by Benjamin Wells and Natallie St. Onge
- Editorial Writing: Marquette Wire Editorial Board
This brings the contest year’s total to an impressive 96 awards, which would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of all team members.
