Dr. William Welburn, vice president for inclusive excellence, will retire after 12 years of service to Marquette.
All members of the community are invited to celebrate his distinguished career. A reception will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 31, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the AMU Henke Lounge; the program begins at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of retirement gifts, Dr. Welburn has requested contributions toward Equity in MKE or the Bridge to the Future Fund to support current Marquette students. Support a gift in his honor.
