Merchandise featuring the image from the campus mural, “Our Roots Say That We’re Sisters,” is now available. You can now purchase mugs, tote bags, notecards and stickers at both the Haggerty Museum and in the AMU Brew. The primary purpose of the merchandise is to elevate the reach of the mural, but proceeds will benefit diversity programming at Marquette.
The mural project showcases the diversity, richness and complexity of our campus and Milwaukee communities and makes visible the interconnected nature of the experiences and struggles of many women of color. As past, present and future students of Marquette, the women depicted in the mural provide a way for campus community members to see themselves and their potential elevated and serve as an inspiration to us all. More information about the mural is available online.
