Participate in Mission and Ministry’s ‘Ribbon Reflections,’ Aug. 23-27

July 28, 2021

The Office of Mission and Ministry invites faculty, staff and students to contribute a hope or prayer for the new academic year via a “Ribbon Reflection.”

There will be a table at the east side of St. Joan of Arc Chapel between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. during Orientation week, Aug. 23-27, where you can write a hope or prayer for the school year on a blue and gold ribbon.

The Ribbon Reflections will be displayed at the Mass of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, Aug. 29, at 4 p.m. as a symbol of the community’s hopes and prayers coming together in support and promise as we look forward to a new academic year. Mission and ministry hope to collect ribbons from a wide range of the community.

Departments or student groups can request a ribbon packet which will include instructions, sharpies and the number of ribbons requested for your department or group. Ribbon packet requests can be sent here.

Please include the number of ribbons needed in the request. You will receive confirmation to pick up your packet from Campus Ministry, AMU 236, or interoffice mail delivery can be arranged. Once the ribbons are complete, please return to Campus Ministry by Friday, Aug. 27, at noon.
