New University Staff Senate representatives announced  

Marquette staff recently voted to select nine new USS representatives in June 2021. Results were tallied and finalized in early July. 

USS is pleased to welcome:

  • Maria Cooper serving as an academic representative
  • Molly Eldridge serving as an administrative representative 
  • Cailin Hostad, Jack Bartelt, Kirsten Boeh, Steven Robertson and Yvonne Printz serving as at-large representatives

Officers were selected at the July 15 staff senate meeting.  

Carol Trecek will serve as chair, Melissa Econom will serve as vice chair, Cailin Hostad will serve as secretary and Lori Montezon will serve as treasurer. 

Continuing representatives include Laura Abing, Chris Bartolone, Cliona Draper, Latrice Harris-Collins, Sherri Lex and Nicolle Skoien.

The University Staff Senate is a group of elected individuals who represent Marquette University staff so that their views and interests may be considered, alongside those of faculty and students, in the conduct of institutional affairs that affect life in the workplace and in the advancement of the university’s mission. Meetings are open to all staff and are held the third Thursday of each month, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
