Limited supply of free steering wheel locks available from MUPD

The Marquette University Police Department has 10 steering wheel locks (clubs) available for students, faculty or staff who own Kia or Hyundai cars, which have been targeted for a rash of auto thefts across the City of Milwaukee.

Those with these vehicles interested in receiving a free steering wheel lock should contact Officer Tom Wichgers to schedule a time for pick-up by calling MUPD’s non-emergency line at (414) 288-6800, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Students, faculty and staff will be required to bring their Marquette ID and their vehicle to the appointment.
