The Association of Marquette University Women (AMUW) and the Center for the Advancement of the Humanities announced Dr. Dána-Ain Davis as the 2021-22 AMUW Women’s Chair in Humanistic Studies.
Davis is a professor of urban studies and anthropology for the the graduate center at City University of New York. She will join the Department of Social and Cultural Studies for the fall 2021 semester.
