Campus Ministry will host a virtual “Soup with Substance” event on Wednesday, April 14, from noon to 1 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
In recent years, colleges around the world have been hubs of climate activism, from the level of grassroots student campaigns up to institutional-level action. At Catholic universities in particular, climate justice is an imperative, with the Vatican encouraging holistic care for creation and exclusion of fossil fuel companies from investment portfolios. This presentation will focus on how the Marquette community can heed these calls to action on both local and global scales.
