The Center for Peacemaking will award one grant to a full-time faculty member to develop a new course or significantly revise an existing course that explores and integrates issues of peacemaking and nonviolence.
Proposals addressing human rights, community organizing, and other methods of promoting social and political justice are especially welcome. To apply, complete the online form by Tuesday, June 1.
The value of the Peace Studies Course Development Grant is $2,500.
Please note that the application contains a few questions about the course and requires submission of the following items:
- Letter of support from department chair that includes a commitment to offer the course annually
- Draft syllabus (note: a single section of a multi-section course is not eligible)
- Updated curriculum vitae
