ORSP to host Fulbright alumni ambassador, April 29

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) will host Heather Bandeen, a Fulbright alumni ambassador, for a virtual visit on Thursday, April 29, at noon. Register via Eventbrite

A Fulbright Alumni Ambassador, Bandeen traveled through Norway as a Roving Scholar in American Studies, learning about education policy as she visited colleges and schools. Today, Bandeen is the research and program development manager at the Association of Minnesota Counties, where she oversees research, education and engagement. Bandeen will share her personal Fulbright experience and her thoughts on preparations for managing extensive international travel, living apart from family and considerations for a mid-career professional.

A Q&A will follow Bandeen’s presentation. To submit questions in advance, please include it in your registration form or email questions directly to Averia Flasch, assistant director of project planning and development.

The session will be recorded and will be available for viewing to those who register. However, it is encouraged to attend in person to hear and learn firsthand about the incredible opportunity this prestigious fellowship offers, and to learn about the powerful impact it can have on professional development.
