Boheim Lecture: ‘The Humanities in Extra/ordinary Times’ is April 27

The Association of Marquette University Women (AMUW) in hosting this year’s Distinguished Eleanor H. Boheim Lecture: “The Humanities in Extra/ordinary Times in a virtual format on Tuesday, April 27, at 7 p.m.  

Registration for the event is available on Zoom.

The event will be presented by Dr. Antoinette Burton, Maybelle Leland Swanlund Endowed Chair and professor of history at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.  

Burton re-thinks humanities advocacy, drawing on her own biography, research and experience leading the Humanities Research Institute at the University of Illinois and the Humanities Without Walls initiative.
