Wisconsin has two upcoming elections on Tuesday, April 6: the 2021 Spring Election and Special Legislative Elections. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
If you voted in the November 2020 election with your campus or current address, you are already registered to vote for the April 6 elections. You can verify your registration status at My Vote Wisconsin.
Absentee voting:
All registered voters in Wisconsin can request an absentee ballot. You must provide a photo ID with your absentee ballot request.
Upcoming deadlines:
- March 17 was the last day Wisconsin voters could register to vote online or by mail.
- April 1 is the deadline to request an absentee ballot for regular and permanent overseas voters. If you are a regular or a permanent overseas voter, your absentee ballot request must be received by your municipal clerk no later than 5 p.m.
- April 2 is the deadline to register in your municipal clerk’s office. Voters may register in-person in their municipal clerk’s office during the clerk’s business hours until 5 p.m.
Wisconsin voters can register at the poll on Election Day, Tuesday, April 6.
Note that you can only vote once in an election. If you vote at your permanent address, you cannot vote at your campus address.
