Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute seeking new co-director from Marquette; apply by April 1

Marquette will be conducting an internal search for a co-director of the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute (NMDSI)This opportunity is open to any faculty or staff member in any school/college at Marquette and has an anticipated start date of July 2021. 

Members of the search advisory committee include: 

  • Michael Zimmer, chair of the search committee and associate professor in the department of computer science 
  • Edward Blumenthalassociate dean for research and current co-director of the NMDSI 
  • Richard Povinelliprofessor of electrical and computer engineering 
  • Sumathi Thiyagarajansenior director of corporate engagement operations in the office of economic engagement
