The HSI Network of Wisconsin will host, “Advancing Racial Equity in our Colleges and Community” on Friday, March 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Marquette is a co-sponsor for the event
Speakers include:
- Dr. Deborah Santiago, CEO of Excelencia in Education
- Dr. Michael Benitez, vice president for diversity and inclusion at the Metropolitan State University of Denver
The summit will focus on learning, action, eliminating barriers to access, challenging the systems that continue to oppress communities of color and finding solutions in the spirit of collaboration and solidarity.
