Haggerty Museum of Art to host ‘Community Day: Hidden Stories,’ April 7

The Haggerty Museum of Art will host ‘Community Day: Hidden Stories’ in a virtual format, Wednesday, April 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

The event is a free, family-friendly, virtual exploration of Hidden Stories. 

Participants are invited to create art, meet the Haggerty Museum of Art’s community partners, enjoy live and pre-recorded sessions and discover new ways to engage with the museum. 

The schedule includes the following:

  • Introduction from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. 
  • Visual Art Workshops with UWM ArtsECO fellows 
  • Morning Mini Tour with Riveredge Nature Center from 10:40 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.  
  • Haggerty’s Hidden Stories from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. 
  • Mindful Lunch from 11:55 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. 
  • Create Your Own Story with the ACLU of Wisconsin from 12:55 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. 
  • Afternoon Tour with the Jewish Museum Milwaukee from 2 p.m. t3 p.m.
