The Department of English will host acclaimed author Rebecca Makkai for a conversation about her most recent novel, “The Great Believers.” The virtual event will take place this Sunday, March 14 at 7 p.m.
The novel won several significant prizes and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. This conversation will be a great event not only for those who have read the novel but also for people who love books, writing and the kind of sharp observational wit that defines Makkai and her fiction.
