The Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Raynor Memorial Libraries will host a virtual lecture in honor of Black History Month on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
The virtual lecture, “The Great Debaters: The Political Ideologies of Booker T. Washington, W.E.B. DuBois, Martin Luther King and Malcolm X,” will be presented by Dr. Cedric Burrows, assistant professor of English, and Dr. Heather Hathaway, associate dean for faculty and graduate affairs and professor of English and Africana studies.
Dr. William Welburn, vice president for inclusive excellence, will moderate the event.
