Students who test positive for COVID-19 can receive daily support during quarantine via ‘GetWell Loop’

Students who receive a positive COVID-19 test result through the Marquette University Medical Clinic are eligible to receive support through Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin’s “GetWell Loop” online tool and mobile app.

GetWell Loop provides direct access to a care team via daily check-ins throughout your entire COVID-19 experience.

GetWell Loop delivers friendly reminders that will help you improve your health and stay on track with your care plan. You can receive essential information via text, in-app messaging or email. Your interactions with GetWell Loop will be shared with your care team so they can provide support when needed ensuring you receive optimal outcomes of care.

Students who enrolled in the GetWell Loop last semester shared that they appreciated that a medical professional checked on them daily and answered any questions they had about possible physical symptoms, mental health concerns and feelings of isolation. A few of the nurses even played checkers with students virtually to keep them company.

HOW TO ENROLL
When students who test positive for COVID-19 at the Medical Clinic are notified of their positive result, the Medical Clinic will inform them of GetWell Loop. Those who then choose to participate will be contacted via email by a nurse from GetWell Loop to confirm their enrollment. Note that this free resource is only available to students who isolate and recover from COVID-19 within the state of Wisconsin.
