The Marquette Core Curriculum (MCC) Committee has created the MCC Teaching Excellence Award to recognize faculty for outstanding contributions to student learning in the MCC. The awardee will be recognized for effective approaches to course design and delivery that have an extraordinary positive impact on students’ progress toward one or more of the MCC’s six learning outcomes.
All instructors (full-time tenure and tenure track as well full- and part-time non-tenure track faculty) who taught at least one MCC course in 2020 are eligible for consideration.
Nominations are currently being accepted for the inaugural award. Students, faculty colleagues and department chairs can nominate faculty online through Wednesday, March 31. Self-nominations are not accepted.
