Leadership development model invites students to connect diverse experiences

February 3, 2021

The Student Affairs Leadership Development Committee recently developed  The Contemplatives in Action Leadership Development Model, which invites students to connect all of their diverse experiences with their ongoing reflection and development.

The hope is that the development model will be incorporated into experiences across campus and will become a familiar reference point in their formation. Colleagues across campus are invited to use this model in conversations and student leadership experiences.

To assist with using the model, the committee has developed resources for faculty and staff to use with students. These resources include a Train–the-Trainer session, which has been recorded and is available online.

Those with questions, concerns or input should contact Dr. Joya Crear, assistant vice president for student affairs.
