Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning and We Are All Marquette will host a webinar from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, titled “Celebrating Black Alumni Leadership in Our Community.”
In conjunction with Black History Month, the webinar is co-hosted by the Black Alumni Association.
In this session, Sheena Carey, internship director and lecturer in communication studies, and Makda Fessahaye, employee relations director at City of Milwaukee, will explore Fessahaye’s Marquette experience, career path and volunteer efforts in the community — including her work with the Marquette University Law School’s Diversity Recruitment Committee.
They will also be joined by Nkozi Knight, president of the Black Alumni Association and manager of investment client services at Northwestern Mutual, who will speak about the many opportunities the BAA has to offer.
Registration is available on Zoom.
