Near West Side Partners executive director to participate in webinar about strengthening university/city partnerships, Jan. 27

Keith Stanley, executive director of Near West Side Partners (NWSP), will participate in a webinar hosted by the the International Town and Gown Association (ITGA) on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from noon to 1 p.m.  

As a member organization of NWSP, Marquette encourages the campus community to attend this virtual event.

The session is titled “Town-Gown Turn Around Series: Where do we go from here?” and will focus on strengthening partnerships between cities and university stakeholders and how these partnerships can turn around business districts, enhance downtown areas, increase retail sales, extend campus life boundaries and make positive impacts in the communities.  

Panelists from across the country include:

  • Keith Stanley, executive director of Near West Side Partners Inc. and Business Improvement District #10
  • Sara Bloom, executive director of Downtown Hays Development Corp and ITGA board member
  • Adam Ducker, RCLCO senior managing director
  • Doug Schneider, president and owner of the DHS Hospitality Group and chairman of the New Brunswick City Center
