The Office of Engagement and Inclusion is offering two leadership opportunities for students.
Arrupe Ambassadors
Hosted by the Office of Engagement and Inclusion, Arrupe Ambassadors is a cohort-based program primarily for juniors and seniors. The program focuses on social justice, vocation and reflection.
The bi-weekly reflection-based leadership development curriculum invites students to reflect on their purpose as they look beyond college. Participants will hear from guest speakers and have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow student leaders across campus.
The program’s namesake is attributed to Rev. Pedro Arrupe, S.J., a Jesuit leader whose words and legacy inspired the curriculum of this program.

Cardoner Scholars
The Cardoner Scholars leadership program is open to first- or second-year students who want to deepen their leadership skills and elevate their transformative Marquette education.
This experience will take a cohort of students through an Ignatian-centered leadership development curriculum. Scholars will meet weekly for six workshops with Office of Engagement and Inclusion mentors and participate in activities that help them understand their own leadership styles as well as grow in their leadership skills.
The program’s namesake is attributed to St. Ignatius of Loyola’s pivotal moments of reflection while on the bed of the River Cardoner in Spain.
