The 707 Hub will host a virtual “Meet-n-Eat” discussion with Dr. Shital Vora, Marquette alumna and co-founder/CEO of Global Brigades. The event will take place on Monday, Feb. 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Dr. Vora will discuss how she used her entrepreneurial spirit to evolve her passion project into one of the most impactful student-driven, poverty-alleviation efforts in the world. She will highlight how developing an entrepreneurial mindset allowed the organization to effectively pivot to virtual advocacy in the face of COVID-19.
