Go paperless and sign up for electronic W-2 forms

Faculty, staff and student employees have the option to go paperless and opt out of receiving a paper W-2 for 2021 

If employees elected paperless statements in prior years, electronic W-2 consent is still effective for 2021. See instructions for opting out of the paper form. 

Going paperless provides secure access earlier than a paper form. This option also reduces costs and saves paper. Also note that online W-2s are released in January — earlier than the mailed paper form. 

For those who do not opt out, traditional paper forms will be mailed to permanent home addresses and postmarked no later than Friday, Jan. 29.
