Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning will host a webinar titled “Christmas-Themed Art from the Haggerty Museum of Art Collection,” on Tuesday, Dec. 15, from noon to 1 p.m.
The session will be presented by:
- Christine Fleming, manager of community engagement at the Haggerty Museum of Art
- Susan Longhenry, director and chief curator at the Haggerty Museum of Art
- Lynne Shumow, curator for academic engagement at the Haggerty Museum of Art
The Haggerty Museum of Art collection currently includes more than 7,000 works of art dating back to the Renaissance period through the present.
Each year Marquette’s current president chooses one of those works to feature on Marquette’s Christmas card. During this program, three Haggerty staff members will share and discuss a selection of those works — including the painting chosen for the 2020 card.
