Virtual ‘Ideas Fest’ is Nov. 9

The Office of Research and Innovation will host its annual “Ideas Fest” on Monday, Nov. 9, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to share ideas and network with other innovators. For those interested in applying to the Explorer Challenge, Ideas Fest is an excellent opportunity to meet others with similar ideas, build an Explorer Challenge team and run ideas by the Innovation Council. Innovative ideas submitted to the Explorer Challenge can earn seed money up to $25,000.

This virtual event will include time for participants to share their ideas with the group, as well as time to split up into breakout rooms to talk with Innovation Council members or other participants. Participants will also learn more about how to apply for this year’s Explorer Challenge.
