Enable notifications to receive safety alerts via MUPD’s EagleEye app

On Thursday, Oct. 1, MUPD began utilizing push notifications in via its EagleEye safety app.

Please note that this is in conjunction with the existing text message alert system for communicating about emergencies and severe weather alerts. If you already receive text alerts, you will still receive these.

The EagleEye app is free and available for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android; it can also be found by searching “Marquette EagleEye” in either app store.

Note that you may not receive safety alerts through EagleEye if your notification settings are disabled.

To change this:

  1. Open the EagleEye app on your device
    1. Click on About/Preferences > Notification Settings
      1. Choose “enable notifications.”

Users should also make sure notifications from EagleEye are allowed in settings on their iOS or Android phone.
