Camp Kesem acknowledges the unique experience and impact that can be created in a child’s life when a parent suffers from cancer, and aims to create a community of strong, supportive, incredible children who can share in fun, creative and goofy experiences in a time when things are feeling all too adult.
The organization’s largest project is a week-long summer camp complete with s’mores, camp songs, swimming, games and much more.
Tuesday, Dec. 1, is Giving Tuesday, an initiative launched in the hopes of creating a global day of giving within the holiday season.
