All students are invited to join an “Old English” book club, an informal group that will gather to read and discuss old English — literature from around 450-1100 C.E.
The first reading will include poems from Boethius’s Consolations of Philosophy.
The club will meet on Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Marquette Hall 105. Students will be required to socially distance and wear masks during all meetings. If more people join, the club will move to a bigger room or move online.
