New Student and Family Programs is seeking 30 students to serve as 2021 SPARK leaders.
“SPARK,” or “Summer Priority Advising and Registration Kick-off” is the mandatory program for new first-year students as a part of their transition to Marquette.
Every year, 130 current Marquette students welcome incoming students to campus by serving on SPARK or orientation staff. Positions include:
- 4 student directors
- 30 SPARK leaders
- 110 orientation leaders
SPARK leaders serve as group facilitators, resources and role models for new students and family members. Each year, a diverse team of mature and dedicated students are selected to assist with SPARK.
This summer position requires some training throughout the spring, with the heaviest commitment spanning from Wednesday, June 2, through Friday, June 25.
