Request a free copy of ‘Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope,’ a book about working-class America, from the Law School

Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center hosted authors Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn earlier this week for a virtual On the Issues event.

In their latest book, Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope, Kristof and WuDunn focus on the state of working-class America, which in recent decades has experienced stagnant wages, the disappearance of blue-collar jobs, the ravages of a drug epidemic and public policy that did little to address this unraveling.

The Lubar Center has a limited number of complimentary copies of the book available. Marquette students, staff and faculty who would like a copy can contact Hilary DeBlois, program manager for the Lubar Center.
