The Office of Research and Innovation will host Jonathan Barnhart, director of research at EAB, for a presentation titled “Telling the Story of Research” on Friday, Nov. 13, from noon to 2 p.m.
Barnhart will share tactics for communicating the value of university research.
The session will explore the following topics:
- Organizing and training communication terms for the greatest impact
- Engaging faculty to better communicate with the media and general public about the value of their work
- Optimizing communication channels, including best-in-class website design, content creation and social media strategies
