Annual Benefits Enrollment closes Nov. 13 at 4 p.m.

October 26, 2020

Faculty and staff can now make changes to their benefit elections during the Annual Enrollment period, which closes on Friday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m.

All employees are strongly encouraged to enroll, change or waive benefits for 2021.

Employees who wish to change existing health insurance plans, coverage levels or enroll/re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and/or Health Savings Account (HSA) program(s) must complete the enrollment process during this period.

The 2021 Annual Benefits Enrollment Guide is available online and includes important updates to Marquette’s 2021 benefits. An online benefits presentation with key messages and Frequently Asked Questions are also available.

There are two ways to enroll:

  1. Self-enroll online. The enrollment site contains step-by-step instructions.
  2. Schedule a confidential, 30-minute phone appointment with a benefits educator. Limited weekend appointments are available in addition to appointments Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Visit www.marquettebenefitsenrollment.com
    • Call (877) 759-7668

IMPORTANT: If faculty and staff are enrolling any new dependents (spouses and/or children) in the Marquette medical, dental or vision plans, they must have their Social Security Number and date of birth information available. They will also need to upload a copy of the marriage certificate and/or adoption/birth certificate for these dependents in the online enrollment tool by Friday, Nov. 13.

Note: Do not re-upload certificates that were previously uploaded (during last year’s enrollment process).

If you do nothing, your elections for 2021 will default as follows:

Coverage 2021 default if you do not re-enroll
Medical Your 2020 plan election and coverage tier; if you are covering a spouse, the $100 monthly spousal surcharge will apply
Dental Your 2020 plan election and coverage tier
Vision Your 2020 plan election and coverage tier
Flexible Spending Account for Health Care $0 as you are required by law to re-enroll each plan year
Flexible Spending Account for Dependent Care $0 as you are required by law to re-enroll each plan year
Health Savings Account $0 as you are required to re-enroll each plan year
