As a part of the Center for the Advancement of the Humanities’ Research Colloquium, Dr. Tosin Gbogi, assistant professor of English, will present a webinar titled “In the Belly of the Earth: Place and Displacement in Modern Nigerian Poetry” on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
The talk will draw upon emerging scholarships in ecopoetics, geopoetics and topopoetics to theorize how modern Nigerian poetry (re)imagines place and displacement within a postcolonial paradigm.
Email Dr. Melissa Ganz, associate professor of English, for a link to join the Teams meeting.
