New Student and Family Programs is collecting nominations from faculty and staff to find qualified students to serve as 2021 SPARK leaders and student directors.
SPARK is a required summer program that includes course registration, campus tours, and informational and social programming for new students. Each year, a diverse team of 28 mature and dedicated students are selected to assist as SPARK leaders. SPARK leaders facilitate small group discussions, serve as a resource to new students and their families, and help new students adjust in their transition to college life.
The four student directors are critical members of the New Student and Family Programs team as paraprofessionals, and they serve as an initial touchpoint for new students, families and student leaders. This high-level leadership position spans January to October 2021.
Submit your nominations online by Monday, Sept. 28.
