Marquette has established a formal partnership with Joliet Junior College, an Illinois community college with six campuses located in Joliet and the surrounding areas.
This guaranteed admission agreement allows qualified students to plan their transfer in advance by drawing on Marquette’s advising resources to ensure a smooth transition. Qualified students are guaranteed admission to nearly any Marquette undergraduate program.
Joliet Junior College is the oldest public community college in the United States, dating back to 1901. It currently serves nearly 30,000 enrolled students in both credit and non-credit programs. Students that follow Joliet’s associate of arts or associate of science degree options can earn an A.A. or A.S. while also earning many transferable credits toward a Marquette bachelor’s degree.
Marquette continues to identify strategic transfer partnerships with community colleges around the country. Visit the Undergraduate Admissions web page for more information. This is Marquette’s 7th guaranteed admission agreement.
