Marquette alum and secretary of the DNC Jason Rae to deliver virtual talk, Sept. 22

The Political Science Department will host Jason Rae, secretary of the Democratic National Committee and partner at Nation Consulting, for a virtual talk on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Register via Eventbrite.

About Jason Rae
A 2009 graduate of Marquette, Rae will share how his Marquette education prepared him for a career in politics.

Rae was elected secretary of the Democratic National Committee in February 2017. He serves as a member of the DNC Executive Rules and Bylaws Committee. He was the chair of the DNC Youth Council from 2007 to 2017 and was the author and lead trainer for Wisconsin’s 2008, 2012, and 2016 Delegate Selection Plans.

Rae founded and currently serves as president and CEO for the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, an award-winning organization with more than 600 businesses members.

Rae is also a partner at Nation Consulting. the Milwaukee-based public affairs firm.
