Ignite will host Rev. James Martin, S.J., international speaker, author and 2014 Marquette University Commencement speaker, on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. via Zoom. Father Martin will present “How Does Jesus Fit into College.”
Father Martin’s best–selling books include Building a Bridge, which focuses on transforming relationships between the Catholic Church & LGBTQ+ Catholics. He discusses how the Catholic Church can become a community or spiritual home of hospitality, welcome, love and care for the LGBTQ+ community.
