Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning will host a webinar titled “Expecting the Unexpected: Resilience Coping Strategies for Today’s Unpredictable Environment” on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from noon to 1 p.m.
Presented by Dr. Emily Mazzulla, clinical assistant professor of psychology and director of SWIM, the webinar will discuss how trauma and stress affect people differently. A traumatic or stressful event threatens one’s sense of safety and challenges your ability to cope. The COVID-19 pandemic can be described as a collective traumatic event. Mazzulla will share more about resilience coping strategies for predictable and unpredictable times.
