Raynor Memorial Libraries’ Funding Information Center produces the Foundations in Wisconsin Directory each year. The directory is now available and can be accessed on the center’s website.
The 2020 Foundations in Wisconsin directory provides authoritative information on Wisconsin grant-making philanthropies. The directory, published annually in print and online, provides up-to-date information on the growing field of Wisconsin-based private, corporate and community grantors. This past year, the number of active foundations increased to 1252 and total grants hit an all-time high of $811 million.
The Funding Information Center also offers an on-site collection of materials focused on private foundations, philanthropy, fundraising, grantsmanship and related topics. The center is one of more than 470 partners in Candid’s Funding Information Network, and has been a partner for almost 50 years.
For Marquette grant seekers, Foundations in Wisconsin is available free of charge as a searchable online directory. To learn more information about the directory or the Funding Information Center, visit the center’s website, or contact Mary Frenn, funding information librarian.
