The Faber Center will host a virtual retreat titled “Reflecting on Our Return”on Friday. Aug. 14, from noon to 1 p.m.
Open to all employees, this retreat invites participants to reflect upon the academic year.
“As we continue to find ourselves in unprecedented times and as we prepare to welcome students and our colleagues back on campus, it is important to pause and take stock. For many months, most of us have been working and teaching remotely. As we return, this separation has affected us. Shorter commute times and time with family may have brought a new perspective. Others living alone may have missed the camaraderie of the Marquette community. Each of us has our unique story. And for some, returning may invoke feelings of anxiety and uncertainty. We invite you to join us for this time of reflection to ponder all we have experienced and how we can move forward in hope.”
