Due to the challenges that COVID-19 is presenting to the Book Marq’s operations, the store is currently unable to provide any specific information as to when orders will be processed. If students wish to make a change to their order, email the order number and details of the changes desired to the Book Marq. Once the order is fulfilled, you will receive a second email confirmation.
Additionally, there is a limited occupancy of 35 customers in the store at one time. Because of this capacity, the Book Marq has implemented a online reservation system where students can make an appointment.
If you decide to visit the store in person to acquire course materials sooner, contact the Book Marq so that the online order can be canceled.
Spring 2020 rental returns
The Book Marq will continue to accept rented textbooks from the spring 2020 semester until Thursday, Sept. 3. Currently, 2,000 books are still pending return, and most of these books are needed to fulfill orders for fall 2020 orders. If not returned by Thursday, Sept. 3, students will be charged the replacement and processing fees on Friday, Sept. 4 and will then own the books with no refunds.
Return books as soon as possible — either by shipment or making a reservation via the Bookings App.
