Aug. 13 Town Hall to focus on fall plans for reopening and Step 4 processes; register today

The Marquette COVID-19 Response Team will host another virtual COVID-19 Town Hall for the campus community on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. via Microsoft Teams Live.

Register via Eventbrite; a link to join the virtual event will be sent to registrants on Tuesday morning. Please note that this event is for Marquette students, faculty and staff — only those with Marquette email addresses will be admitted.

The event will be moderated by Dr. Xavier Cole, vice president of student affairs and chair of the Response Team. President Michael R. Lovell will offer opening remarks, followed by updates from various Response Team leaders.

The event will focus on the university’s plan to reopen under a hybrid course format. The Recovery Team will share an overview of Step 4 processes and expectations, including:

  • Health and safety procedures
  • Academic planning
  • Residence halls and dining halls

Updates will be followed by a Q&A. Submit questions in advance via the online form. There will also be an option to ask a question during the event.

*Due to the high volume of questions being submitted, we ask that before submitting a question, you check recent university communications and the COVID-19 FAQs page to see if your question has already been answered.
