The Office of Research and Innovation and the  COVID-19 Research Initiative will host a second virtual town hall titled “Pandemic-related Lightning Talks” on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The event will feature fiveminute presentations by 15 different faculty, staff or research associates focusing on the research endeavors, projects, commentaries and educational opportunities emerging within Marquette around the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is also an opportunity to hear presentations by the three project winners from the President’s Challenge for COVID-19 Response.

The first round of Lightning Talks held on June 23 is an example of the interdisciplinary research, teaching and educational opportunities happening across Marquette’s campus.
