Office of Institutional Research and Analysis 2019-20 statistics now available

The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis released its official statistics on the number of degrees and certificates awarded during the 2019-20 academic year. The office also published enrollment statistics for summer 2020. This includes headcount enrollment data, student credit hours and class size information. 

From July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, Marquette conferred 2,935 degrees and 31 certificates. Of the degrees awarded, there were 1,838 bachelor’s degrees, 702 master’s degrees, 59 Ph.D. degrees and 336 professional doctorate degrees. Additional data, including degrees awarded by college/school and major/program, are available via the interactive report. 

Marquette’s summer 2020 student enrollment was its largest since summer 1983, with a total enrollment of 4,072 students, comprised of 2,268 undergraduates and 1,804 graduate/professional students. This summer also saw a record number of courses offered online as courses were moved to an online format due to COVID-19. Additional summer statistics are available via the interactive report.
