Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning will host a webinar titled “A Pandemic of Inequity: Addressing Educational Disparity in the COVID-19 Era” on Tuesday, July 21, from noon to 1 p.m. CT.
The webinar will focus on a variety of local outreach programs and organizations addressing the challenge of inequality throughout the pandemic. The webinar will also elaborate on how Marquette is collaborating with the Milwaukee Public Schools’ Department of Black and Latino Male Achievement to organize the Leadership and Brotherhood Summit for Young Men of Color.
The webinar will be moderated by Dr. Robert S. Smith, Harry G. John Professor of history and Director of the Center for Urban Research, Teaching and Outreach.
