The Minority Scholars Mentoring Program was created by and for minority students at Marquette with the purpose of providing underclassmen with the tools and support needed to succeed in the academic realm.
The goal of MSMP is to pair upper-level minority students with freshman and sophomore minority students in the same academic college or major. Once paired up, the mentors will help their mentees get the most out of their college experience and guide them in post-graduate plans. In a predominantly white institution, it is important for minority students to receive the support and tools that they need to succeed. MSMP will ensure that each minority student will graduate with an incredible network that they can lean on for finding future jobs and opportunities.
The 2020-21 application is available via Qualtrics. With questions, contact Jaileen Diaz, president of MSMP.
