Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning will host a webinar titled “Deepen Your Roots Through the Ignatian Volunteer Corps” on Wednesday, June 24, from noon to 1 p.m. CST.
The webinar will focus on Marquette alumni who have answered the call to love and serve as members of the Ignatian Volunteer Corps. IVC is a national Jesuit ministry of men and women who bring expertise and life experiences to serve others.
The webinar will be moderated by Dr. Kathy Coffey-Guenther, Arts ‘85, Grad ‘88, ‘98, senior mission and Ignatian leadership specialist. Presenters will include:
- Monica Meagher, Arts ’77, regional director, IVC Milwaukee
- Kathleen Mantz, Sp ‘78, IVC Milwaukee (Seton Catholic Schools, Reading Tutor Program)
- Dick Sibbernsen, Arts ‘71, IVC Chicago (Catholic Charities, Lake County Jail service site)
